Ke'Erron

Worship Pastor and recording Artist, Ke’Erron Sims of Houston, has been singing since the age of 8 and found a real passion for the presence of God when he was 11 years old. Coming from a home without a father, it was in God’s presence where everything changed - he encountered the Father’s Love. This moment has marked the course of his life and ministry. “My desire is to create opportunities for people to experience what I’ve experienced with God.” said Ke’Erron. Being raised in Trinidad and America has given Ke’Erron a heart for nations and various cultures. From 2010 to 2016 he had the opportunity to serve at a Bi-Lingual church where he learned to fluently speak and lead worship in Spanish.

Ke’Erron has been writing original worship music since 2010 and has been recording and releasing original  music since 2012. “You Deserve”,  Sims’ 2013 single, was the release that brought a greater level of exposure for his music and love for his ministry. Since it’s release, it has been picked up by worship directors and sung in congregations across the U.S. and Latin America. The single was also translated in Spanish, recorded and released by Spanish worship artist - Evan Craft. In his years of recording, Ke’Erron has been influenced by worship artists such as Bethel, Travis Greene, Elevation Worship, Leeland, Justin Cellum, All Sons & Daughters, and Hillsong.

In February 2017, Ke’Erron was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, an auto-immune disease in which ulcers are often found on the inside of the large intestine and considered to be incurable. Walking this journey of health and understanding was a key inspiration in the writing process of his latest release, “Better With You”, which is the band’s second full-length album. “There were so many unknowns when I was diagnosed with UC. I have high days and I have low days, but it has all really challenged me to lean on God’s understanding and not my own. I’ve had to look to and depend on him for my peace and strength on this journey. It’s what inspired me to write these songs” said Sims.

With “Better With you”, Ke’Erron aims to tell stories of reckless, selfless, life giving love and that life is better with Jesus. “I really want to paint the picture of Jesus through my life and music.” - Ke'Erron
